 Mt Gravatt Challenge 2016

             About Us

In 2012 the Rotary Club of Mt Gravatt decided to start a Community Event aimed as a fun day for families and a terrific way of fundraising. The Mt Gravatt Challenge is a 1.5 KM walk from the bottom of the mountain on Shire Road up Mt Gravatt to the mountain's summit. The Challenge starts at 7am and the road will be closed for walkers until 11:00am. You can enjoy breakfast at the new Lovewell cafe while being entertained with music from 96.5 FM radio station as well as enjoying the spectacular views over Brisbane. This event is open to all familes, friends, walking groups, comunity groups and dogs to join us for a morning of fellowship and fun. All it will cost you is a gold coin donation. Funds raised will go to Southside Community Care, based in Mt Gravatt, and other Rotary projects. In previous years, the recipients of funds raised have been The Wilderness Society, Mt Gravatt Community Centre, Mt Gravatt Meals on Wheels  and the Hope Foundation.
